Miriam Driessen

Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Oxford

I am an anthropologist and a writer of literary nonfiction. Currently I am a Post-Doctoral Research Associate within the China, Law and Development Project, hosted by the University of Oxford China Centre. My interest in Africa-China goes back to 2010, when I started working with Chinese road builders in Ethiopia. My current research looks at the socio-legal aspects of Chinese involvement in Ethiopia.
